Our Mission

Gentle, Real-Life Sleep Support for Your Family

At The Rested Family, our mission is to help exhausted parents create calm, predictable sleep without compromising their values or their connection with their child. Through virtual, gentle sleep coaching, we partner with families of newborns through early childhood to align age-appropriate schedules, build soothing routines, and gradually replace sleep crutches with independent sleep skills. We don’t use extinction (“cry it out”) methods; instead, we offer step-by-step guidance for naps, night wakings, regressions, and bedtime battles—so your child’s development is supported, and your whole family can finally breathe, reset, and rest.

How The Rested Family Can Help

Every family is different, but the patterns are common — and solvable. If any of these sound familiar, you’re not alone.

Frequent Night Wakings

Your baby falls asleep fine… but wakes every 45–90 minutes. Or your toddler is up multiple times a night and needs you to get back down.

Short Naps + Contact Naps

If naps are 20–40 minutes, unpredictable, or only happen while held, it can feel impossible to plan your day.

Early Morning Wake-Ups

When the day starts at 4:30 or 5:00 a.m., everything feels harder.

Bedtime Battles + Keep Getting Up

If bedtime takes two hours and you’re stuck in “one more drink, one more hug, one more story,” you’re not failing — you just don’t have a clear plan yet.

Sleep Regressions + Developmental Leaps

Sleep can change quickly — especially around common regression windows.

Needing Sleep Props for Bedtime

If your child needs a specific thing to fall asleep (or to stay asleep), it often becomes the reason you’re up all night.

Ready to Get More Rest?

If you’re exhausted and overwhelmed, you don’t need more tips — you need a plan you can follow, with support when things get messy.

Megan Pince

Before working with Kelly, I was completely exhausted and overwhelmed. My 4.5-month-old was waking every 45 minutes to an hour all night long, and every nap and bedtime involved endless rocking and nursing. I felt like I was doing everything wrong and constantly running on empty.
From the moment I connected with Kelly, I felt such relief. She listened without judgment, truly understood what we were going through, and gave me a clear, gentle plan that actually worked. She walked me through every step — naps, bedtime, middle-of-the-night wakeups — and supported me the entire way.
Within days, my baby was falling asleep on his own and sleeping longer stretches than I thought were possible. Now he’s sleeping through the night, naps are consistent, and our whole family finally feels human again.
I can’t put into words how grateful I am for Kelly. If you’re in that fog of exhaustion and don’t know where to start, please reach out to her. She gave us our sleep — and our peace — back.

Kelly from The Rested Family is absolutely incredible. We are only on night two, and my daughter is already sleeping through the night, something I honestly didn’t think would happen this fast. Kelly’s guidance was clear, supportive, and completely tailored to our family. She made the whole process feel manageable and stress-free, and I finally feel confident instead of exhausted and overwhelmed.
If you’re on the fence about sleep consulting, don’t be!! Kelly is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly life-changing. Our whole family is more rested, happier, and calmer thanks to her. I cannot recommend her enough!
